Favourite Wave: Snapper rocks is a really fun wave, you always get a couple of good waves our there.
A phrase I use far too often is... going surfing?
I wish people would take more notice of... how fun surfing really is.
The most surprising thing that have ever happened to me was... going for a surf with my step dad when I was about 9 and it was massive and I got really smashed but I kept trying to get out.
The ideal night out is.. 'chilaxing' with all my friends with good music.
You know me as a surfer but in a different life I'd be... anything to do with the water.
The most favourite place I have been in the last twelve months... ummm not sure but probably my last trip to Queenslandwith my family and friends was really fun.
What's the water temperature like where you live? It changes a lot. Some days it will be really nice and others its really cold.
What's your favourite thing about surfing? No rules, just surfing.
What are your other obessions? Friends, skateboarding, music.
What surfer inspires you the most? Luke Egan, he has been my favourite surfer forever he is my uncle and inspiration, Mick Fanning he has had the best story and camoe back and won a world title which is amazing.
What music pumps you up before a surf? Rap, Jack Johnson
What defines good style in the surf? Fast, flowing, aggressive
Whens the last time you got worked by the ocean? I was in gromsearch at Cronulla and there was a really big sand bank about 4 foot and pretty heavy, I went to duck dive and my nose got stuck in the sand because it was sp shallow I got washed pretty far in and onto the rocks!!! I got off alright.
What training do you do? I often go on suns with my sister, lots of stretching at weekly yoga sessions, coaching with Dan Frodgman helps out a lot, a bit of gym, but most of the time I just go surfing. I love riding my smoothstar when the surfs not that good.
In a nutshell...My philosophy is... How much you put in is how much you'll get out of what you are doing.
