First week as a Billabong intern and already hitting the road as I joined the team to head up to the Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search in Brisbane. We ventured out in the rain to see the new talent - and maybe even scout a new Billabong model as happened last year with the lovely Jessica Bush (keep an eye out for her in the new Summer campaign!). We arrived to find the hall full of preened, pretty hopefuls, with boyfriends, mothers or best friends in tow, nervously awaiting the results. As the names were announced I couldn't help to feel anxious with them, especially as the last few were called! Here are some pictures from the event and the lucky girls who were selected as finalists.
